  • Our team has had many years of experience in the Hospitality Industry and will only be too happy to advise you with your Conference/Function/Ceremony arrangements should you want us to.
  • The Arms, has a simple cost structure designed to allow you flexibility, yet retain awareness of what the day is costing. We essentially provide the venue, the grounds should they be required, and all the frills at no extra cost. We guarantee a wonderful stress free day/night at the Arms.
  • Our flexibility even allows us to attend to your guests needs should you be away for the photo session after the ceremony. Extra or alternative items may be added if required although there may be a charge for these. We are more than happy to discuss all details with different menus and pricing structures at any time.
  • Platters/Finger foods for Functions/Conferences/Meetings for groups up to 20 persons.
  • The Putaruru Arms can cater up to 60 people indoors and our bar is open till late depending on the guest’s wishes. And we have a range of menus to suit all occasions.
  • To compliment your day, accommodation is available for you and your guests. The arms has 20 units, 4 of those are family units. For the over night guests, a breakfast is available in their units or by arrangement in the restaurant, the following morning.
  • Should your guests stay longer we will be happy to advise on some good sight seeing trips and things of interest in and around Putaruru.

Extra costs are to be considered are:

Bar Prices: Our licensed bar is well stocked and prices are comparable with most other bars
Non-alcoholic and other drinks are available also.

Table Wines: We offer a wine list for your consideration, however this does not limit you if there is a particular wine that you like.

We do not have a BYO license but are happy to quote supplying the wine of your choice.

Entertainment: 

The bride and groom usually arrange bands or discos, and the Arms have a karaoke system for hire.

Nibbles:

Hors-d’oeuvres and supper are both available, and the cost per head is dependent on the requirements and your choice of foods.

Menus:

The Arms have different menus for different budgets and can make a menu especially for your day. Please look over the sample menu under the Restaurant section, that we have found to be the most popular and of course we will discuss any changes you might wish to make. The price per menu includes all set up in the restaurant and the Arms supply all table linen, etc inclusive of the price per head.
